...as opposed to seeing them in Chicago? Minneapolis? Springfield?
Heck YEAH! Australia is a lovely continent and I've never met an Australian I didn't like (granted, I only know a handful... but they're all LOVELY folks!). The Sydney Opera House is a world landmark (I have a friend who works/performs there, often). MasterChef Australia and My Kitchen Rules are two of my favorite TV shows.
Yes. Go. Enjoy. (I'm jealous)

I don't quite understand the point of your question.
Do you want to see these shows before they eventually get to Brisbane?
Are they worth risking your points on airfare/accom,?
As this MFL has never been done before nobody can give you a crit.but Aladdin has been extremely successful so is a crowd pleaser.
You obviously love/like theatre otherwise you would not be here so go have a wild week/end in Sydney then brag to your Brisbane friends that 'I went to Sydney and saw....'
.I think you might be old enough to make up your own mind and if the trip is a flop, don't blame BWW.
SL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,x.have a naughty [Sydney] time.

I just hate Australian Casts. I just wondering if anyone has heard good or bad things about these casts in other shows. I personally think the USA is where the talent is. I wish one day we will get American Idiot Musical, Fun Home , Hamilton etc don't think it will ever happen. I saw a post that saying we will get Fun Home. But I doubt it. I have a glimmer of hope when I see Book Of Mormon. I just hate any award that says Lucy Durack and Bert Newton are any good.

Well you really don't hate Australian cast, you dislike some of the performers, I second Lucy Durack, Im not a fan and will skip a show if she's in it.
And if you even read this thread, fun home is due next year and Hamilton is due in 2018 ...

Arielle Jacobs can do no wrong in my eyes and she's playing Princess Jasmine in Aladdin there. She could sing the phone book and it would be amazing.

Your country gave the world Caroline O'Connor. And Hugh. Australian casts can be THE BEST!!

Actually Caroline was born in England but works often in Australia and is certainly popular and loved there. She is soon the star in Funny Girl in Melbourne for The Production Company---can't wait to visit for that--will post my thoughts[end of July].
