I'd like Charo to come to Broadway to play Daniela in "In The Heights."
Me too. And I'll sit in RMezz M32
I love Charo, but I'd only do lottery for her, so I would sit wherever the good graces of the Richard Rogers box office staff decide I should sit.
Do you think Charo would stagedoor?
I hope Charo lets you take pictures of her when the flash is on. LOL!!!
I'd like Charo to come to Broadway to play Desiree in "A Little Night Music."
Charo opposite Aaron Tveit as Madame.
What if Charo was the new Anita in WSS?
I think Charo would be a great Anita-I mean she looks are young as ever and as fresh as a daisy! "America" could use a few, "aye, aye, aye, coochie, coochie, coochie." Plus, we all Laurents originally Anita to be a flamenco guitarist but it never came to pass.
I could see Charo as Flounder in The Little Mermaid, only if they didn't play less than 700. Such an obvious replacement for Brian.

I saw Charo in Mary Poppins. I waited in line for the lottery, lost (they cheated) and then I bought a student rush ticket for $7. Afterward, I waited for a half hour till she came out and then I saw her in the Alley smoking, still in costume. I will never go see her again.
They couldn't fly Charo during her Mary Poppins stint because of her cleavage. Also, she refused to put down her guitar and open the umbrella.
I also heard that is why she lost out on OBC Elphaba.
In all seriousness, I think Charo would be fantastic in a West Side Story tribute. I know, I know, get the jacket and the room, I'm ready.
Charo was in the final callbacks for Elphaba. However, she refused to take the ponytail on the top of her head out and she could not wear the witch's hat properly.
Her "toss, toss, toss" scene after "Popular" was a hoot and a half.
