With some of these shows ( bands visit and Anastasia... it also wouldnt surprise me if kong is gone by summer) announcing closings and a large number of limited run plays it looks like by July many theatres will be open for new tenants. As well as the Lunt. It seems that there is quite a bit of space with unannounced shows.
Ive heard as well that very shortly love never dies will be making announcement and after Anastasia announcing its closing. It just makes sooo much sense that they would want to fill it with a sequel right next door.
Im also surprised Tina hasnt announced that they would be taking up the lint and girl from north county in the Lyceum.
Imelda’s Gypsy I would expect to see here by October as well.
In all honesty if it continues this way I would be surprised if they rush Diana the musical and magic mike in within the year
Be More Chill is playing the Lyceum and will likely still be open in the fall.

Be More Chill is in the Lyceum. And I'm not sure Gypsy is still transferring, there hasn't been any news on that in like three years.

It makes much more sense that the producers of Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, who are also the producers of Anastasia, are making room for the limited engagement, which has already announced that it's starting performances in May.
Tina has already booked the Lunt for the fall. It’s a done deal.
There is room at the Lunt for a limited run of something until then. Why hasn’t GFTNC announced anything? Because most recently they were looking at filling said space for a limited run at the Lunt and then returning next season at a new theater. But word is they have abandoned this plan.
Expect Frankie and Johnny to announce the Broadhurst soon.
Imelda Staunton is sadly unlikely to bring Gypsy here. They pitched the shows to the nonprofit companies on a roadway and they all passed on it. Unless Roundabout changes their tune, the show isn’t transferring as producers said it would need a nonprofit host.

Don't tease me like this!
Tina did announce that it's taking the Lunt.
They have not yet done so.
if they are replacing Anastasia with the theatrical blasphemy known as Love Never Dies, I swear on my grave...

I am so sick and tired of hearing about what is going to go into the Lunt, when everyone is saying Tina...in actual fact, nowhere has it been officially announced it is taking the Lunt. I looked so i could shut someone down...but I stand corrected...BroadwayNYC2 is correct.

Relax. It's a done deal --- not everyone requires an "official announcement".
