After reading the thread about shows that will never be revived I was inspired to start a threat of shows that we think need to be revived. Here are my picks:
Anyone Can Whistle
Kiss of the Spider Woman
Hair
The Secret Garden
Ragtime
Carrie(With some major rewriting I think this could be a masterpiece plus can you imagine the flocks of fans who would die to see this show)
Applause
Bye Bye Birdie
Camelot
Pippin
OoOh! I like your list...quite a bit!
Here's my list of "Shows that SHOULD Be Revived":
The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Carousel
A Little Night Music
URiNETOWN
Bells Are Ringing
Parade
i think carrie should be revied with roundabout. I think it will do good and will fit nicely into studio 54 or the A.A.T
Ragtime
The Secret Garden
The Woman in White (in a few years and with real sets)
Into the Woods(in a few years)
Ragtime
Once on this Island
Seussical
:) see a trend?
Ragtime (I see the trend)
Our Town (I just love this show)
Pippin (Michael Arden)
Bye Bye Birdie
HONK!
Carrie
West Side Story
Dreamgirls
Sunday In The Park With George
Merrily We Roll Along
may be flops but...
-Ragedy Ann
-Big*
-Wind in The willows
neomystyk29, I completely agree with Arden in Pippin! That would be awesome!

Mack and Mabel
Li'l Abner
I also agree with Pippin with Arden. He deserves to be in a show that doesn't suck.
And wasn't Bells Are Ringing revived like 6 years ago? With Faith Prince? Kind of soon. Same with Into The Woods, revive it in like 20 years, with new inventive staging and amazing casting. The last revival was 1. Too soon, and 2. Miscast.

Bye Bye Birdie
Mame
Mack and Mabel
A Little Night Music
Porgy and Bess
Did Honk! ever even make it to bway? I am not sure but I would love to see it here, I saw it on the west end many years ago and it was amazing! I would love to see Li'l Abbner back, great show, so much fun to do! Also a few more to add:
Refeer Madness
Evita
South Pacific
Promises,Promises
The Wiz
Fuddy Meers
If I had one wish, it would be to keep Jay Johnson On Broadway!
Darwin and the Bird of Death....

jensen11us2- Good News! There is a revival of The Wiz at the La Jolla Playhouse and it is actually going on right as we speak!

I'm there with CARRIE, but I think it needs an atmospheric staging off-Broadway--the big overblown Broadway version was dead on arrival.
PAL JOEY has an incredible score and is more relevant today than it was in its time.
I know I'm in a serious minority, but I'd love to see KISMET again (I know Encores! did it, but I mean a large-scale full revival.) I know it won't happen for awhile, though--current events have made Baghdad seem a lot less enchanted than it once was.
Bye Bye Birdie definately needs a revival.
What about 7 Brides for 7 Brothers... everyone forgets about it and I think it is timeless. It's a little old fashioned but I think a good revival would make it known again.
I hate to be one of those annoying snobby people, but...

I'm surprised no one has yet said Chess, so I will. I think with a reworked book it could be amazing. With Julia Murney as Florence, please.
Dreamgirls
Chess
Evita
Merrily We Roll Along
Ragtime
-SIDE SHOW
-Carrie (I think revised but it has to be full blown again with set just people who are smart with designing sets, costumes, cheography, and a good director)
-Caroline or Change, In a couple years
-BARE
-Dreamgirls
