Sieber will be perfect.
Any hopes I had for this show have left with Celia Keenan-Bolger's name.
Also, with her nose.
I've only heard of Celia Kenan-Bolger and Christopher Sieber, but they look like alright castings. Anyone from here been invited?
thanks,

Seiber is inspired casting.
I'm not too sure about Keenan-Bolger though...
I guess they won't be playing up the wholte Lord Farquaad is short and overcompensating for his height...
Maybe Lord Farquad will be gay AAAAND european!
I can't think of anyone better than Sieber, he'll be ideal. I can just imagine...
Celia Keenan-Bogler as Fiona is just...bleh

I could see her as Fiona. She has a great voice, but who knows? I'm sure they've changed a lot of stuff for the staged production. I don't see how they're going to pull of the whole dragon thing at the end. Or the various cartoon characters who would just look stupid played by actual humans (gingerbread man). I'm interested to her Tesori's tunes though.
Seriously?... Three movies isn't enough?
Did anyone go?
Oh come on! Like what, Celia could be worse than Cameron Diaz?
Celia's a versatile actress. She can pull off the comedy. It's also just a workshop for the writers/investors benefit. Not an actual production to be presented. Kerry Butler workshops shows, but doesn't necessarily mean she's asked back to star in them. With such a recognized name and guarantee money maker, they'll probably pull a "mermaid" and go with unknowns for the leading roles.

Umm the only REAL complete unknown in that production is Sierra. Disney usually casts the lead as an unknown and well known Broadway actors around them.

Sieber will be awesome. Celia? Really? I still don't get it, but whatever.

I love Celia. I think she'll be good.
Sieber will be good in the role, but Brian d'Arcy James is PERFECT for it...
Prince Eric is unknown unless you say "Stanford's boyfriend from SEX AND THE CITY." I had no clue who he was until I read his resume on Broadway.com. Him and Sierra don't have name recognition (unless you're a die-hard SATC fan, who memorized the cast list down to detail).
I really wanted someone i know, anthony d'amato, to get shrek. he made it to the final callbacks, but i guess didn't get the part . I think celia is perfect, though.
I've known Steve Glickman for many years and he will make a fabulous Shrek! As for Celia... She's only slated to be in it for workshops. They are talioring the role of Fiona for another, bigger-named musical theatre actress who is busy for the time being but will be available come opening night!
^Kelli O'Hara?
Kelli O'Hara??? I rather have Celia.
Songstress, you allowed to give any hints?

I actually think Keenan-Bolger is a good fit for the role.
While I'm not at all familiar with Stephen Kramer Glickman, I thought Dan Fogler (who apparently auditioned for the project several times) would have been inspired casting for Shrek.

Somebody explain to me why Celia would be a bad fit for Fiona please. I really do not understand why.
