Probably a pretty lame reply, but it's actually in Dutch and not German.
This production's playing the RAI Theater near Amsterdam.
Haven't seen it and don't plan on seeing it, but it just extended its run with 3 more months, so I guess it's doing pretty well...

Ow come on! Google something before you post it!
There is a big, big difference between German and Dutch - Germany and the Netherlands.
I'm from the Netherlands, so it bothers me that you make this mistake.
And yes it's a cheap production with a short Shrek..

To be fair, to the American ear, they sound similar. Aren't they even classified together? No sense to be offended.
And what exactly were they suppose to google? If the OP assumed it was German, whey would they post to clarify.
To the OP: why do you feel you have to feel anything about the production. I think its impossible to judge foreign productions unless you have an understanding of their culture and history of performance arts -- things are just different.

I get the fact that it sounds the same. But it's not!
And if you're not sure. In the description box, you can read it plays at the RAI Theater and that the video is made bij Avro Tv. If you google both of them, you know it's Dutch!
Shrek in Holland is produced by a smaller production company (and not the big Stage Entertainment). So it's a cheaper, smaller version of Shrek.

Dude, it's not that big of a deal. Yes, we hate ze Djermans; yes, we love kicking their tails in soccer, but come on. Whenever I talk Dutch, people tend to think I'm speaking German. They are both Germanic languages after all...
Going back to the topic: is that the same William that was on 'Wie Is De Mol'?

Thank you.
Yes that's the same William as Wie is de Mol.
It a total new production. But the set and costume designers based the designs on the west-end production.
