Posted: 7/23/11 at 11:55amI just saw Sister Act, and I loved it! But I noticed they were selling the London cast album. Does anyone know if there are plans for a broadway cast recording?

Posted: 7/23/11 at 12:22pmI wish they would, considering the changes made between London and Broadway (and the superiority of the Broadway cast), but it looks highly doubtful. They already have a recording that features the Broadway star, so they probably figure that it isn't worth the expense.

Posted: 7/23/11 at 2:42pmIt would be nice if they did (I love how they changed the end of The Life I Never Led). But it costs a lot of money. I think they have to pay the actors something like a week's salary per recording session.

I love "How I Got The Calling". Sigh.
We've really enjoyed the London recording - it actually has created interest in seeing the show if we can get a NY trip going (and with a soon to be college student wanting to check out NYU - it's very likely).
