So it's been a while since I have had to deal with tickets to a show and a snowstorm-do the shows usually go on? I have Angels in America tomorrow and if I can't see it tomorrow I won't be able till until July! Also do I call theater if I can't get there. Any info about what happens would be appreciated!
USUALLY, the only thing that stops the shows is if they close down the subway system.

Sarah, if you're unable to get to the theater contact Ticketmaster first, or wherever you made the purchase. I'm having the same worries about getting in from upstate. I'm hoping for an exchange for 3 Tall Women. And I'll have to miss Chita at 54 Below and, maybe, at least get a credit
They are currently predicting 4 to 8 inches. Last I heard is the brunt will be during the day. My thought is that matinees could possibly be cancelled but evening shows may go on. Just my thought.

I’m facing the same dilemma about Angels for tomorrow. I’m just going to take a way earlier train into the city and hope that all works out in my favor.

I’m hoping subways wlll be running! I’m 5 blocks from the 1 and 2 and 3. Plus that both performances will be happening for Angels in America!
Ok I have a snow day (teacher). Any chance the shows will offer a snow discount for the matinees and thus I could see, say, MFL with a discount?
Schools are closed in NYC and per ACCUWEATHER:

I'm guessing if Part 1 is canceled, they'll cancel Part 2 as well, seeing as folks who bought tickets in advance would've purchased both as a bundle.
I was hoping to rush a matinee but it would be unfortunate to make the trip uptown for there to be no shows that day. As of now, it doesn't seem like anything will be canceled but maybe that'll change through the night. It's basically a waiting game.
An ad for ONCE ON THIS ISLAND blizzard tickets just popped up on my Facebook page.

I had a problem getting into the city from Long Island during a recent snowstorm and I had an onstage seat for FARINELLI. When I presented my ticket at the box office a week later and explained the situation, I was graciously given a comp for front mezz because the onstage seats were all taken for that performance.
As your next trip to the city I'd far off, I would call the box office and explain your dilemma.
Good luck.
I have a ticket to Grand Hotel tomorrow and I already feel like its going to be a bitch to travel to the city from Queens.

Wait a minute...
Once on This Island is offering $59.50 tickets without a discount code. Telecharge is letting you do free exchanges. I could buy tickets to OOTI and exchange them for another date for free. $59.50 for what would normally be $89.50.
Would this work?
I have tickets for Angels in America today as well. I called the box office yesterday (which directed me to the Nederlander org), and the woman I spoke with said they're planning to postdate today's performances, so whoever has tickets for today should be able to exchange into another set of performances.

I have tickets for Wicked and Frozen today. Came in yesterday instead of earlier this morning. 2 weeks ago I had to sell my Frozen ticket because I couldn't come in. Hopefully shows won't be cancelled.

does this mean the performance is cancelled or not?

There’s nothing on the website. But I also have tickets for today. Kind of considering blowing it off, though, because this may be my only chance ever to see Springsteen, assuming there are people who will not be able to make it here to attend tonight.

I’m going to call and try and get my tickets exchanged for a different set when Ticketmaster fan support opens. I think I could get through Part 1, but I’m afraid of landing on the street at 11 after Part 2 and being stranded in the worst of it.

I'd be more inclined to ask for tickets at equity if I thought they'd offer more than just escape to margaritaville or escape to margaritaville

Anyone have experience with snow days and TDF tickets? I too am supposed to see Angels today and I would be coming in from Princeton. I think I'd be ok getting there, it's getting back that's the problem. Someone mentioned earlier that Nederlanders said they were pastdating all tickets today...would that apply to me too?

I am slightly worried about this. However I am about 14 blocks away and close to 1,2 and 3 so i figure I should be able to get home.

If you go to the TDF website, there's an advisory on how to handle the matter during weather emergencies. It includes a list of contact numbers.
All shows currently still on. 9AM update
Telecharge offering exchanges.
Ticketmaster refunded my tickets to Angels that I had for today. I got lucky because I had a hotel as well and was able to get a refund for that too! My overnight trip is turning into a day trip as I have tickets to Phantom and Children of a Lesser God tomorrow.
