Trying to keep this positive, what shows on Broadway now do you like? Please not what you hate.

The only Musical on Broadway that I would pay to see right now is The Light in The Piazza. As far as straight plays - Doubt would be my top choice.
"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!"

Honestly, I like 'em all. I haven't seen all of them, no, but even if I sat dead-out BORED for the entire show, I'd still be glad I paid for that ticket. Maybe it's just me, but it could be the worst production in the world, but it'd still be theatre to me. And I would appreciate the efforts that people gave in to make the production happen.

I love Hairspray and Rent and BatB. I haven't seen the newest shows, but I love the Cds of DRS, Wicked (which I'm seeing in LA tomorrow), LitP. I also can't wait for Avenue Q to open here in Vegas!!! LOve the CD!

Here, here Aigoo, I agree with that! I love live theater and all it takes to put a show on. Give me live stage anyday over a movie, there's just nothing like the rush I feel when the lights go down in the theater and the performance begins.

Three of mine are WICKED, RENT, and PIAZZA(this show TOTALLY blew me away!)!

The Light in the Piazza and Rent are my favorite's that are currently open. My favorites that aren't on Broadway right now are Cabaret and Into the Woods.

I love Phantom, Beauty and the Beast, and Wicked!!! Favorite of all though is Phantom!!!

Sweet Charity and Spelling Bee so far. I will see Color Purple, In My Life and Piazza this fall. Plan to also re-visit RENT and Phantom.
Playwise - Doubt just blew me away. But it is the only play I have seen in the past year on Broadway. Looking forward to Pillowman.

Of the recent shows coming out in the past year or two I would have to say my NEW favorite is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Of the long running musicals my favorite is a toss up between The Phantom of the Opera and the love of my life, Rent.

I loved "Light in the Piazza" -- the most beautiful new music I've heard in a long time. I also enjoyed "Scoundrels" and "Spamalot."
Last weekend, I saw "The Constant Wife." Kate Burton was fierce -- the show was a little slow at times, but she, Lynn Redgrave and Michael Cumpsty are reason enough to go.
