"I would've gathered in the wings to see Asa Sommers nude!"

"I believe that art does not exist only to entertain, but also to challenge one to think, to provoke, even to disturb, to engage in a constant search for the truth."
- Barbra Streisand
During DRS, at one point when the plants are supposed to come onstage from offstage left on a moveable platform, the stagehand forgot to hold the curtain. The plants fell over immediately after coming onstage. There was a man behind the plants who the audience was not supposed to see until he jumps out of the bushes and takes Johnathan Pryce in a net. Norbert started yelling, "SH*T! SH*T! SH*T!" for about 2 minutes, then began helping the man behind the plant lift the plants back up onto the platform. After this, Pryce said, "Pretend like you didn't see anyone behind that plant. Now on with the play." It was pretty great. I was talking to Gregory Jbara about it after the show.
When I saw Dog Sees God back in January, I was sitting in the audience left (stage right) box, right up front. I could see Keith Nobbs literally lying down behind a set piece waiting to pop up for his cue. It was a bit distracting, but from my vantage point, it was unavoidable.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
During Wicked before Elphaba appears in Nessa's wardrobe you can clearly see some guy in a white t-shirt. I mean, I could see it all the way in the nosebleed seats.
