Has anyone discovered hidden easter eggs on the RENT dvd? If so, please post how to get to them right cheer...thank ya.
(Oh and for those that will automatically say it (although not my personal belief) the film blew chunks, Columbus botched it, the ending was wrong, and all the deleted crap never should have been cut out.)
Okay. Easter Eggs...go!

Actually, yup...I am. I also wanted to make sure everyone sticks to the topic and doesn't start flamin' the film.

Oops, sorry, I misread your post. I bow in apology for being a smarta$$. Go about your thread!
I'm sorry- Easter eggs??
Huh?
Hidden features on DVD's that aren't advertised.
Don't easter eggs mean bloopers? Like the Santa Fe girl?
Edit: I guess not

Thanks, Sorry Grateful. You may rise.
DVD Easter Eggs are hidden treats added to DVDs. If navigated correctly on a DVD menu, the DVD will unlock a surprise (i.e. Easter Egg). The Easter Egg can be an additional deleted scene, a blooper gag reel, etc.
They appear on most DVDs and they make owning the DVD x-tra special.
What's the point of hiding them?
There's nothing posted on https://www.dvdeastereggs.com/ yet
Easter eggs are any extras that aren't advertised like the perso nabove said.
ex-on the first LOTR movie if you scroll down a list and keep scrolling there is an extra comedy thing.

They are a special treat for those "in the know". google search dvd easter eggs and you will find entire message boards filled with them.

That's like asking why have a surprise birthday party, em!
I found a great easter egg where the sound is all messed up and certain scenes won't even play. but maybe that's just my DVD...
That's it, I'm changing my new screenname to: "the perso nabove"
They make features that are otherwise boring or inconsequential seem really special. That's about it. And they increase the time a viewer spends playing with the disk, so in some ways it seems to increase the psychological value of the purchase. They're just a fun little gimmick, much like a hidden track on a CD, that serve no purpose other than to make you think you and/or your new DVD are really special when, in fact, neither is probably true.

The 2-disc PHANTOM DVD has an easter egg.
The point? It's fun! And it's a hobby for techies. People will buy DVDs just for the fact that is has an easter egg.
I doubt RENT has any easter eggs that we wouldn't have known about.
Threadjacking alert!
Phantom has easter eggs? Enlighten us please!
On phantom...On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, press DOWN all the way until you highlight 'No One Would Listen.' Then, press DOWN one more time and a corner of the border will be highlighted. Press ENTER to reveal a cast and crew singalong!
Sometimes they put easter eggs on the end of the credits if you sit there long enough (like on HP2 or Pirates of the Caribbean)... Not the case with RENT. I haven't found anything.
With easter eggs, you pretty much have to play with the navigation buttons until you hilight something you couldn't see. Hedwig has a couple...

I hope somebody finds some! I have no patience to search on my own, heh.
The Moulin Rouge DVD has some great Easter eggs.
