Is any particular day of the week better to try the lottery than other evenings?

I went on Tuesday and was the only one who entered. Not sure about other nights.

Not sure what you think is so funny about premium seating... The show tends to sell out and the reviews come out right before premium seating is implemented

"a special Premium front-section seat" is the only info provided.
I went to buy a premium seat. No seat selection option. Didn't see any identification of a section on the map. No info if it is general admission within a special section. The lack of info for something premium is what made me chuckle a little.

Three friends and I took in Spamilton yesterday, and we all loved it! It is consistently laugh-out-loud funny, as Alessandrini dementedly explores the notion of fame, "gay" plays versus "straight" plays, and how Hamilton's popularity has affected Broadway in general. The high-energy cast gave fine performances across the board. I marvel at how well-prepared these kids are today. The visiting diva was hilarious with her impressions of Patti, Liza and Bernadette (no last names needed), and the actor who played King George was also wonderful. Cast member Nora Schell (a standout) did a wonderful pregnant Audra at one point! They all got their digs in at Lin-Manuel, but it was good-natured fun. And what would Forbidden Broadway be without a particular orphan? The audience was doubled over for that one.
Three of us had tickets, and one friend won the 10-cent lottery. She sat upstairs, but she said she could see fine. You can't beat that deal! About seven people entered, and five won. If you go during the week, you're sure to snag a cheap seat.
Don't miss it! Running until Dec. 31, I believe.

How's the view from the last low balcony? I think they're now selling the lottery seats at a discount, and I'm tempted to try those. Thank you!

I don't feel like I missed anything, although my neck hurt after.

Bumping to ask about seating in the new theater. Any sense of why the box seats and front row are priced lower? Are they partial view or very obstructed (e.g. by a high stage)? Thanks!

We saw this Sunday and sat in the orchestra, last row (L) and had a perfect view. Stage was about even with our eyeline. I don't walk down to the front but the stage appears fairly high for the first few rows.
It's a cute little theater - toght entrance area and steps immediately when you enter. Good sound quality though and comfortable seats.

Anyone seen it recently? We're hoping to go over the July 4th holiday weekend and see lots of discounts available, including the 2nd row ($49). 3rd row is Premium ($113) so how bad could row 2 really be? '![]()

Any info on the seating? July 4th didn't work for us, now we're planning Labor Day weekend

Like what? The place is tiny, so I doubt there is a truly bad seat anywhere. We sat front row, for 25 bucks. It's a little close, but worth it for the $. (I don't think it's worth a lot more that 25 bucks. It's cute.)

I saw it within the last 3 weeks. Nothing to compare it to, however.

First row was fine, show was a gas. You do have to lie back a bit to see things comfortably and we noticed there were Spanish subtitles above the stage for at least one song that we wouldn't have been able to see if we had needed them.
