diwata is just awesome...

and I'm sad...today is S&D's last day.
=/
but hey at least I got to see it...and for $10

My teacher brought this up though, and I think I've heard other people discuss the possibility of it going to broadway...idn though could be just rumors.

I absolutely loved the show, but I don't know how well it would do in a larger house. What's the smallest Broadway theatre? seating capacity-wise?

Farewell Speech and Debate.

Is anyone going tonight?

RyToast, the Helen Hayes has the fewest seats of the Broadway houses.

I was at the final performance tonight!

I had called on Friday to see if any tickets were available, and they said it was sold out.

I popped into the box office at around 4:30 this afternoon and asked if there had been any cancellations, and I was able to get a ticket!

I was so excited. I had only seen it once before, in previews, and I absolutely loved it.

The cast was on fire tonight.

Robyn Goodman (producer of AVENUE Q and ALTAR BOYZ) was in the audience. That made me curious. This seems like the kind of show she would totally dig, and be into producing on Broadway.

Jason Moore and Stephen Karam were there too.

I would *love* to see this show go to Broadway, but I think the only house it could work in would be the Circle in the Square, since there is no mezzanine.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Can S&D possibly go to New World? Maybe when Altar Boyz closes. That might be a good fit for the show.

I hope it'll find life again...where ever that may be. I don't, however, think it would really do well on Broadway. A nice off-Broadway house would be perfect.

They might as well have extended it if they're gonna transfer to another off-broadway stage. I really liked that Black Box Theatre. I don't see a replacement Diwata or Howie or Salomon though.

Foster, any speeches from Stephen Karam or the actors?

I would love the lyrics to 'Hold It In' if any of you have it!
