are there any final performances for certain actors coming up??

John Groff? Lea Michelle? and how about Mr. Tony Winner?

I overheard John Gallagher mention about 2 weeks ago that he's probably leaving after next month. No idea about anyone else though.

Just spreadin the love on the message boards. You dont like what people talk about, go find another message board to post on. People on here like spring awakening... and rent... and dare i say it, WICKED. So people are going to want to know things about the casts of the show, and will use these boards as an outlet to ask/answer questions about things they have a passion for. You dont like it? Then leave.

You may be having difficulty finding accurate information because nothing official has been announced yet. There was a recent thread, that had a link to the website of his rumored replacement (whose name escapes me).

Alright, Mr. Lightguy. I'm sorry if you got offended. And you would be hard put to find a more hardcore Guilty One than me. But try another a search. This question has been asked a million times. Eventually it starts to get old.

Edit: Adam, the replacement's name is Blake Bashoff. I think he was in Lost or something.

reading the subject of this topic freaked me out. lol i really don't think the JG Jr. final performance is december 9th, i think it definitely would have been officially announced already. i'm seeing it middle of this month, hopefully he is still there.

the 9th isnt gallagher's last show it's been moved cause of the strike. the 9th is stephen spinella's last performance.

lol when I saw the title of the thing I was like wth I just saw it last night and they definitely didn't act like that was the last performance...

Funny thing is I wanted to ask gallagher when his last show is but I forgot to.
Oh well...guess I'll just try to see it again in a few weeks and see if he's there or not...

It was originally the 9th-now I hear the 16th...He starts his band Performances {OSP} on the 22nd. So the 16th sounds like a sure thing. Also, his replacements name is Blake Bashoff. He was "LOST" and has some theater background in Vocals & Dance.

Lightguy i think youve gotten a bit OTT regarding this post. It is misleading. I nearly got the flags out cos i thought it was closing- i'm disapointed now!

I had originally heard from a reliable source{a Cast memeber} back in late October that it was scheduled for the 12/9. Now the same source said it has been changed to 12/16. John cannot extend past that date due to other obligations.

No one can seem to get official confirmation of JGalls departure date. Spinella's appears to be the 9th.

But the buzz is he won't be there after Xmas...but again, no official word. Rumors are that he doesn't want a big deal made of it, so that's why they are not releasing.

Blake Bashoff seems to have the acting chops as well as the musical theater background. Let's hope they've made a good choice.

So far the only poor choice seems to be in the temp Hanschen replacement. MOST folks have said he is way out of his league singing wise, but good on the acting.

Only time will tell.

I doubt he will last past the middle of the month-due to OSP engagements that are booked. I don't think it's bec johnny doesn't want people to make a big deal about his leaving {?} Why not, he deserves a big send off from his fans...
