Spring's Awakening Script

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if ANYONE had a link so I could read the Spring's Awakening script online.

It's by Frank Wedekind, and I know it's public domain now, but I still can't seem to find a viewable script.

I'm auditioning for this show in like 3 weeks, and I didnt want to have to pay Samuel French 30 bucks to buy a copy of it.

Can anyone help me?

Are you sure it's in the public domain? My copy of the play said Samuel French had the rights to it. I tried finding a copy of the play online myself, but couldn't, so I can't help you there.

Yes, I'm positive it is public domain. Sammy French only has it because it was translated to English in 1914

Now all I see are cute boys with short haircuts in a maze of their own...

There are other more accurate translations that are not public domain.

If you live in the city the Drama Bookshop probobly has it for cheap. And if you don't want to spend the money they welcome you do read it there. It's on 40th b/w 7th and 8th
