This is one of those things i haven’t commented on because it just has sounded too absurd to be real but I was told by someone a while ago that it is a real thing being worked on.

I do agree with Bettyboy that there’s just something about essentially having a Broadway career being bought by your Mom that just doesn’t sit right - especially knowing so many amazing people over the years who grind non stop 24/7/365, just hoping to land a role on Broadway.


But that’s showbiz.

This just feels bizarre given N2N is in the zeitgeist currently because of the London pro-shot and Caissie and Jack have been pretty vocal about wanting it to come to Broadway. I get Pink would sell tickets, but so would that London cast with how popular it became not to mention Jack Wolfe’s popularity plus Levy’s Tony win etc etc.

That's bizarre knowing all the other damn revivals we're getting this coming season... How many would need to go up to end up with either 5 or 6 Best Revival Tony nominees?

Exactly. Hell, a seasoned vet would prob love to have an alternate for this role. I do not care if someone can sing the score well… many people can. The show falls apart instantly if the acting is less than the gold standard imo.

Remember who created this thread and take it with the smallest grain of salt.

I know Pink mentioned their family moved to New York so her daughter could study theater and experience more Broadway shows, but since Pink is not an actress, I doubt this is true. They both have great voices but that's not enough for this material.

Wish he could have seen P!nk in more of a song-and-dance show than this - a short stint in Chicago would've been more sustainable.

Flash, now that next to normal has been recognized as country, any word on if the production will have that New Orleans flavor?
