Doesn't he owe millions to landlords? What Broadway landlord is going to say Yes to such a liability?

If they were going to announce any form of extension, it would have to be by Wednesday at the latest so they have a runway (pun intended) to get people to buy tickets for those dates. I don’t hold high hopes, although a friend on the rush line today says there are roughly 45+ people there right now, and the earliest got there around 3am. Whether that shows demand or just a desire for cheaper tickets remains questionable.
Re: the SLEEP NO MORE issue, it appears the rent problem was primarily that of the other two lead producers. Weiner, although named, appears to have no longer been a partner in the production by the time this came about.

What’s being (rather idly) proposed here isn’t an extension at the Broadhurst, but rather putting Jellicle Ball in a custom venue like Masquerade and Sleep No More. Even if it were to happen, it would take a long time to carry out.
