Cast the following Roles as if you were Barry & Fran Weissler.

Link (Hairspray)
Elle Woods (Legally Blonde)
Leo Bloom (The Producers)
Maureen (Rent)
Sally Bowles (Cabaret)
Cassie (A Chorus Line)
Nathan Detriot (Guys & Dolls)
Roxie (Chicago) OH WAIT NEVERMIND..
Man In Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone)
Barry & Fran did a fine job casting Tyne Daly as Mama Rose, and Alyson Reed as Sally Bowles.
Tyne won the Tony, and Reed was nominated.

Reese do Elle? That would be a giant step back in her career.
really-i think it is something she would do. BIG people have done broadway-im sure one day-some time-she'll take a stab-she started in theatre so....
Yeah, but as Rosalind Russel said when they asked her to do "Mame" again as a musical, "That's like eating yesterday's soup." (I paraphrase)
Reese may very well do Broadway, but she probably wouldn't do Elle again. It just wouldn't be a smart move.
On the original question, Christine Ebersole as Mama Rose, please.
rumor has it they are turning "WALK THE LINE" into a musical--i doubt reese will do it-just something to share

Walk the Line was already a musical - it was called Ring of Fire.
Debatable, of course, but it's all relative.
That's surprising right on the heels of "Ring of Fire."
Reese seemed to have no problem revisiting the role of Elle in that sh*tty sequal...
Ok, Im just playing the game and naming whoever comes to my mind 1st, not taking this too seriously, I don't want to start arguements.
Mama Rose (Gypsy) Bette Midler
Link (Hairspray) Ryan Reynolds
Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) No idea, since I haven't seen it.
Leo Bloom (The Producers) Kevin Spacey
Maureen (Rent) Amy Spanger-I think she played it already-
Sally Bowles (Cabaret) this role belongs to Liza.
Cassie (A Chorus Line) Jessica Simpson, after some dance training.
Nathan Detriot (Guys & Dolls) John Stamos.
Roxie (Chicago) OH WAIT NEVERMIND..
Man In Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone) Ugh, no one, I'd close the show. I want just good shows on Bway.
I know it's terrible to wish for the closing of shows they loose their jobs blah, blah, blah... but there are a lot of other shows I'd close before Drowsy.

Ok, I don't wish it to close. I am saying I probably wouldn't like to open a show if I were those producers which Im not. I don't wish any show to close.
