Barry & Fran did a fine job casting Tyne Daly as Mama Rose, and Alyson Reed as Sally Bowles.
Tyne won the Tony, and Reed was nominated.

Reese may very well do Broadway, but she probably wouldn't do Elle again. It just wouldn't be a smart move.
On the original question, Christine Ebersole as Mama Rose, please.

Walk the Line was already a musical - it was called Ring of Fire.
Debatable, of course, but it's all relative.

Ok, Im just playing the game and naming whoever comes to my mind 1st, not taking this too seriously, I don't want to start arguements.

I know it's terrible to wish for the closing of shows they loose their jobs blah, blah, blah... but there are a lot of other shows I'd close before Drowsy.
