This is of the other end - The cast of Love Never Dies are not the best with attendance. I seem to have been one of the few lucky ones who saw the entire original cast.
Daniel Radcliffe has NEVER missed a performance in his two shows on Broadway, as someone else mentioned. Pretty impressive.
That's cool info. about Michael Cerveris, I never knew that.
Didn't Catherine Zeta-Jones only miss performances during those two weeks prior to the Tony's when she was quite sick?
No. She took two vacations despite the fact that she was only in the show for 6 months.
I believe that Tony Sheldon has an excellent performance record; he certainly did when here in London

I don't know if he wasn't scheduled for 8 shows, but I heard Douglas Hodge missed quite a few matinees.
I hear Christopher Sieber has a good attendance record in general.
givesmevoice, i could be wrong but i don't think her contract was changed. How i heard it was that she just stopped doing mats. Of course we're are never told when a star's contract changes so that could be the case. Also people at the box office would always say she was "sick" but then would be back for the evening performance...

Idina Menzel went more than 5 months without missing a performance of Wicked. I know she was out from mid June to early July though due to being ill/filming Ask the Dust (immediately following her Tony win). I think she missed maybe 5 total in London (during her 4 month run). I think she also called out of Act II twice (once on Broadway and once in London) due to being ill. I hate that I know that.

No-sho-livo has to have one of the worst records of attendence for a single run of a show for WSS, and Missy B missed perfs on GYPSY which had a short run and also missed at VERGE which had an even shorter run.
If I'm not mistaken, Brian d'Arcy James has a pretty good attendance record for his shows.
LuPone has a reputation for being a hard ass about always showing up to rehearsals and shows. She is fabulous. I think she's probably best known for always showing up. Had no idea Cerveris was so amazing with that as well-- impressive.
Since Wonderful Town Murphy has been really on top of her attendance. Nearly always makes sure to include a barely veiled jab at Riedel in her interviews too...
Audra likely had near perfect attendance in 110 because she was an above title name, if she missed any shows then ticket buyers had a right to refund. Otherwise Audra's never really done the 8 shows a week thing. But I think it's been in most of her contracts, I know for Marie Christine it was. She often uses alternates in matinees. Woman has ridiculous amounts of skill, so she gets what works for her I guess.

There was a chorus girl in the original 42 St. named Carol who never missed, never took a vacation or sick day in its long run- what a trooper!
Chenoweth was out quite a bit during her nine month stint in Wicked (in New York.) I believe I read somewhere where Laura Bell Bundy went on for her over forty-five times. Also, the understudy had to go on once or twice while Bundy went MIA without asking the producers. I adore Kristin, but that is far too many shows to have missed while in a show for only nine months. I know she did take time off to do Candide at Lincoln Center, and the rest can be blamed on her neck injury, but even then it's still a bit much.
Laura Benanti, whom I love, had a perfect attendance record in Gypsy until a few months into the run. She most definitely missed some performances before the Tony's that June, and then was out here and there for the remainder of that show's run. And she was out at least once at WOTV.
Laura Benanti missed three performances of WOMEN ON THE VERGE: once to attend the Kennedy Center and two with an injured foot. She was hardly out left and right. Patti, Stokes and Sherie all missed more performances than her.
But didn't Patti and Stokes miss shows to do concerts? (And travel to and from said concerts)
Patti's WOTV absences were all posted months ahead of time for previous engagements-she wasn't calling in.
Benanti was out the 2 times I saw GYPSY.
People like Cheno are going to typically be scheduled to miss alot of shows as they seem unwilling to give up other gigs, like TV and films and concerts during a run.
Bernadette cancelled her concert gigs after she was booked in ALNM-now that is a true pro.

Cancelling gigs you might have booked over a year ago?
Yes, I am aware that Patti's and Stokes's absences had to do with concerts. So if we're not counting pre-scheduled obligations as missed performances, then she only missed two shows.
I must have good luck--have seen Benanti in 7 shows (sometimes multiple times) and she's never been out when I've been there.
