Crap, that documentary is re-airing the day I'm moving. I'll just have a friend tivo it for me.

I must say, never in my life have I been jealous of a friend...but I'm jealous of my best friend today. She is seeing HAIR tonight, hopefully she'll enjoy it (she's quite a conservative friend).

I'm reaaallllyyy hoping I get let out of work within the next two hours, and that Hair will be selling SRO for the matinee....

Has anyone gotten SRO for a Wednesday mat? Would it be ridiculous to even try?

i've done it multiple times. definitely give it a try.

p.s. i just checked telecharge and there's only 2 tickets left for the matinee. you might be in luck!

Has the souvenir program been released yet? I stopped by the Hirscfeld about a month ago and the souvenir stand said they were hoping to get it "shortly." I saw the show in previews and LOVED it.

You can but the program on the site for $30 (shipping included)...too expensive!

its 20 at the theater. if you live in nyc or are seeing another show anytime soon you can just go to the theater. they usually have people selling them outside.

I just got a text from my friend ten-ish minutes ago. She is at the matinee as we speak and she's very excited. She's going to text me her thoughts at intermission. I'm so excited for her. Jealous, but excited.

Yes, actually. Finances are getting better and my parents are interested in going as a family. I would really like to be able to share this show with my parents, especially my dad...I think he'll fall in love with this show.

My friend just texted me. It was a pretty short text, but she said it's really good and there is a lot of sex and nudity (which I never told her about).

MY friend just texted me again. She RAVED about it and she keeps talking about how much I'm going to love it. I think it proved my theory that people who are turned off by drugs, sex, nudity ect... are actually the ones who will take the most out of this show.

Well I am not turned off by sex and nudity but I certainly took a lot from the show

Of course. In no way does that mean that people who are comfortable with nudity in sexuality WON'T take a lot out of it...but I think conservative folks will get the message of love, fighting for what you believe in, AND the lessons of nudity/sexuality vs. violence.
