ps for anyone who checks in the coming weeks, SRO was sold out at a Wednesday mat by 12:30 Saw WSS instead, and confirmed that HAIR was the clear winner for best revival!

Now I have to wait til Thanksgiving.... At least we know Gavin will still be there!

I'm SO SO SO glad that Gavin looks like he extended! That'll definitely make it easier for me to get to NYC (since the time frame will be broader).

I have a feeling I'll be up around mid-September. I have this day off of school on the 17th (which is a thursday), and my parents are perfectly fine with me missing just 1 or 2 days of school. My plan is to fly up on Thursday and fly home on Sunday. I would only miss one day of school (Friday the 18th) and I'd have enough time to see HAIR and go do some fun stuff in the city. Nothings is official yet, but that seems like the ideal thing to do. If that happens, I think I'd see HAIR on Saturday.

If he has extended, (which I'm not suprised at) I'm going to assume that it's for a MINIMUM of 3 months....but more likely 6 months.

Yeah, 6 months seems most likely. That would have him in the show till March, which (I believe) is when the most of the cast is contracted till.

I think I deserve to go also. Just have to convince my parents. My dad is totally cool with it. He's a big fan of Hair too. Too bad I don't live with him, so I need permission from my mom and stephfather and they hate everything about musical theatre. But we'll see. I try to stay positive about it..

Anyway, on-topic, Such a great news Gavin has extended!
