"WAKE UP! After a three-month siesta, Cast Party - The Radio Show, returns to BroadwayWorld.com with a new lease on life, a stack of dazzling new live performances and a chat with one of our all-time favorite stage stars! This week, you'll be a fly on the wall at Jim's weekly show-biz bash at Birdland in NYC…where up-and-comers, already-theres, dreamers and fans entertain each other at the piano. Then, Stephanie J. Block, who plays the lean, green and mean Witch of the West, calls in to update Wicked fans on the massively successful Hollywood production. You'll hear about her celebrity sightings, the gravity mishap, and the glamour of the dry-erase board. It's only on Cast Party - The Radio Show!"
ETA: Scroll down to read instructions from Jim Caruso himself on how you can hear this coming Tuesday's Cast Party NOW! The ENTIRE thing is worth listening to but for those with limited time, Stephanie's segment starts at just under 28 minutes into the show.

yay! I can't wait!
I'm so excited!
How do you listen to it though....:P
I'm not sure, I think you just click on the link from his site. I hope it's archieved just in case. Have you all heard the interview she did with him when she was still in Boy From Oz?
ETA - Ok I just clicked on the Bwayworld radio link and if you scroll down it looks like you can connect to the audio from there. If it starts at 8 does that mean we should tune it at 5 if we're on the west coast?

Normally, I'd tell you to wait till Tuesday, click on the Cast Party Radio Show ad on BroadwayWorld.com, scroll down and click on the new show. But as of this very second, Cast Party is a podcast! Go to iTunes, click on Podcasts, search for "Broadway," and you'll find the new show, up and running now! I know...it's alot of clicking. But we think you'll be happy you did! Subscribe to the show and it'll be downloaded to your computer automatically. I don’t know how. It just will. Check out www.CastPartyNYC.com, too!

Thanks!!! Listening to it now. You're the BEST!!!
ETA: If you're not able to download it now it's totally worth waiting for! Don't miss the show on Tuesday - :)

How exactly do you "click on podcaasts"? Sorry, I'm slow...

If you download itunes you'll see a music store option. Go to the music store page and you'll see on the left side "podcasts" with a little orange NEW icon next to it. Click on that and search "broadway"...when you see Jim Caruso's Cast Party, on the very right there is an option to subscribe... if you can't get it after that, I'm sorry I can't help ya.
By the way, the new quotes I have below are taken from the interview. LOL
Yay...that was fun. She is such a star. Her personality exudes it.
And it was interesting hearing all the detials of her injury.
Akiva
i love her. yeah it was sad hearing about her injury. i didnt know she hit some lights too. that must have been so scary.
Yeah!! I'm glad some more people were able to hear it. I was beginning to feel like the only one which was odd, cause normally I'm the one who can't figure out how to work all the technical download stuff.
Anyway, what a great interview! I love the rapport between the two of them - made me want to call my best friend who is on the other coast and whom I miss dearly.
I hope one day she DOES call up some of those people... YO JASON, I'M OFF TO THE COFFEE BEAN LOL

shameless bump :)
This was such a fun interview:) "Hey Jason, I'm gonna head down to the Coffee Bean, want to get a Mocha?" Haha! Thank you Mr. Caruso for posting about it on Itunes!!:)
Sorry this is off-topic, but Popular, what's your avatar?
It's of Stephanie and her boyfriend after the last show here in L.A.
Long story short - she had emailed me back and jokingly (or maybe not so jokingly?) mentioned that she was going to be eating tons of In-N-Out while on her break from the show. Something about how she firmly beleives in the hamburger diet and how it cures all. If you don't know, In-N-Out is a hamburger chain here in the west coast.
Anyway, I got her gift certificates and folded them to look like flowers and presented them to her as a bouquet. That picture is of them holding the bouquet up, loving the gift! If only I had videotaped the moment somehow... :)
PS - more pics in my fan photos file.

that's one hot boyfriend!
I really like her voice, I wish I could see the tour but I guess I'm stuck with the broadway one being close ot my house, jk.
Chita - yeah he's a cutie. He totally made my day by telling me it was the best post show gift she's ever received.
He must've been hungry or is just really nice to say that! LOL
Aww, that's adorable! I love Steph! I looked at your other pictures, too - I loved how she signed your playbill and the picture you got with her is really cute! :)
Thanks! :) She even remembered when signing my playbill that I spell my name differently. I'm assuming she put together the gift and the emails... not sure how, she must have a super memory.
Bump!
You can listen to it now on here:) It starts at about 27 minutes.
