I think should Sutton's TV pilot go to series, she'll leave by April. It would make sense to continue Anything Goes on Broadway alongside a tour as it's doing good business like when South Pacific ran for two years at the LCT until closing to make way for A Free Man of Colour and ultimately War Horse and I imagine AG will continue until Roundabout have their next big musical that can longer than a limited season at Studio 54.

Anything Goes could "extend" well through the end of 2012 as well as start the tour in Fall 2012. The show has been selling well since the first preview.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Besides 12 ANGRY MEN, has Roundabout sent out any other tours?

I think this show would tour well with the right leads.
Pair Steph with a TV comic as Moonie.

I think the show would do well on tour but casting is key.

Would love to see transfer to London but the non profit theatres in NY rarely transfer their shows to the West End unless a commercial producer is involved although London did get South Pacific for a limited season before it went on tour and Master Class is coming in January.

I think Steph should replace Sutton and Tari Kelly should take it on tour.

I saw all 3 of them perform as Reno Sweeney.

Tari Kelly was ok.
SJB was good.
Sutton Foster was great!

I saw the show for the 4th time last night. It was my first time seeing Stephanie. Sutton is definitely the better dancer of the two, and although I loved her performance, I actually liked Stephanie better. Stephanie looked like she was having a blast up there. The songs fit her like a glove.

Hayley Podshun was on as Irma. She was a hoot.

The show is in great shape. Wish I could see it again today.

Hey Dottie! Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany

I've been blasted in other places for my opinions about Ms. Foster in the role of Reno Sweeney, so I won't go into that. But, from what I have seen and heard... the songs, as DottieD'Luscia said, fit Ms. Block very well. And I can imagine that she is physically more in tune with the Reno mold. Ms. Block replacing Ms. Foster would definitely improve my opinion of the production as a whole.
