The problem is, it changes all the time. At this moment in my life, I'll say 'In the Heights'. I enjoy listening to it, I enjoy singing along, and it has the added bonus of being a most excellent show to listen to first thing in the morning when I'm feeling sleepy, thanks to the energy, or late in the evening when I'm feeling weepy, because it somehow always manages to cheer me up.
But give it a few weeks, and I might want something else. *shrugs* I just won't go to any islands that Amazon won't deliver to!

Normally, I'd say the Les Miserables TAC.
But that cast recording is full of depressing songs... and if I'm stranded on a desert island, I'd probably want something to keep my spirits up. So maybe "Scarlet Pimpernel," because there are some really lovely upbeat songs on there as well as darker ones.

Posted: 10/11/08 at 7:41pmTo try and help with the misery of being on the desert island, I'd have to have something peppy, upbeat, fun and camp with alot of heart (regardless of how 'good' the show was. Thus properly "Suessical: The Musical" or something.
