I would love you guys' help with something. I am coming to NYC and planning on seeing Matilda and Cinderella in April. I know that both of these shows do student rush and I have to be there in the morning before the box offices opens at 10am. But what is the best time to get there to guarantee I'll get a ticket? I don't what to show up late and be too far back in the line and not get in! Please help! Thanks.

I also recommend having some backup shows in case those don't work out.
Last Five Years is great and has a simple way to get tickets.
And pretty much all of the non-musicals have guaranteed seats available, some 2Hrs before curtain.
Good luck and make lots of friends.

Sorry for borrowing this thread, but I didn't want to create another new one for this quick question. My friend and I are planning to try for rush tickets for Cinderella, Jersey Boys, or Rock of Ages. We are both graduate students with valid student IDs. However, my friend is in her thirty's since she worked a couple of years before going back to school. Do they have an age limit on selling student rush tickets? (I know they check gov't issued IDs too) If she can't get rush tickets with me, then we might both try to get tickets at TKTS instead. Thanks!
Age doesn't matter. It's for students and if she's a grad student with a student ID, she's a student.
