So I have tickets to The Apple Tree this weekend, and I would like to stagedoor if it's not too cold. I've never been to Studio 54, and I don't usually stagedoor. What's the easiest way to get to the stage door after the show? Also, if you've stagedoored for The Apple Tree, how busy was it? Thanks for any info you can provide!
It's on 55th Street.

Leave the theatre through orchestra doors house right and turn left.
Usually I go through the parking garage on the right of the theatre (the left if you walk out the doors) and turn left at the other end of the garage and the stage door is right there.
Thanks! I knew someone would know!
Get there as quick as possible it gets kinda crazy. A lot of little girls with wicked posters.
It's actually on 53rd St. But yeah, just walk through the garage next to the theatre, turn left, and you should see the metal barricades there.

Or you can just leave though the orchestra doors on the right side of the building.
Someone had posted previously that there was a 1 autograph limit at the Apple Tree stage door. Is that consistently true? I've seen some of the performers in other shows and would like to get their sigs on my old Playbills as well.
When I went there were like a hundred people. I didn't even get to meet Kristin the first time.

There's no limit at Apple Tree - whether you have time to get more than 1 signed is entirely your own doing. I managed to get them on all the other things I needed them on - they loved the nostalgia. Even Kristin.

-- maybe it was just the show i went to. But when i went that wasnt the case at all. In fact i think there may have been ONE wicked poster. There were a lot of people but it was fairly tame.
Its 53rd not 55th. If there are a lot of people there Ms. Chenoweth's personal try to limit you to two autographs per person (the rest of the cast is very nice and will sign as many as you need, with in reason), but I have found that if you ask Kristin politely to sign something else she’ll be happy to do so. But her driver/body guard tries to hurry her along.

When I saw it (December 4th) there were about 25 people there, and Kristin stayed until everyone had everything signed and talked to everybody without her body guards saying a word.
I was there Thursday. No photos, you have to ask to take a picture OF Kristin not with her. And it was 1 autograph only.

Thats bizzare, they also allowed us to have pictures with her.
When I saw The Apple Tree, I had Kristin sign my Playbill, and behind it was the little card thing that is in the holders when you first walk in (with the Kristin logo on it). So while I was switching to put my Playbill behind them, she signed that too... she just kind of kept signing things, I think she signed everything I was holding while she was talking to my mom.
Then we took pictures. I would suppose that it would be much more civil after a matinee, since there isnt usually a big rush to get out of there and go home... but I could be wrong.
Does anyone know if she come's out after saturday matinee's?
