Strongly recommending that you check this out. I'm blown away by the quality of production & acting. But the writing is what's head and shoulders better than any other web series I've seen. GLEE would be smart to scoop up Kate & Andrew

Way better than The Battery's Down and all of the other web series that I've seen (Haute and Bothered, the Rock of Ages videos, etc). I won't say "I'm blown away by the quality of production & acting" because they aren't really doing anything they shouldn't be doing... like talking and moving around. But I do think the writing is better than the writing of other series.

Posted: 1/17/11 at 9:32pmHonestly, I thought this episode wasn't up to par with the others. I do love the vibe of "Intersections." I hope they fully release some of their songs in the future. I bought "I Love That I'm Amazing" from iTunes because of it being introduced to me from the show.

First two episodes were simply hysterical. Snarky yet sweet, it's my favorite of the recent batch of Broadway-themed web series. (Especially that terribly unfunny audition show I can't remember the name.) And yes, I do think that the direction is notably strong and quite professional looking. You can tell they are taking careful care with the shooting and editing to create a special tone. I also like they've kept the number of characters and plot to a minimum, so we can focus more on their characters,
That said...episode three didn't quite meet the same standards they created. E3 was a bit too music-heavy, and I just hope that they take care not to become to involved in the time-wasting musical numbers, wacky situations and forced friend cameos that hurt The Battery's Down in their last season.

I thought the music was used in a very clever way and that reading scene in part 2 had me laughing so hard. As someone who's done my fair share of tragic 29 hour readings, they got it right on the nose. Brava and looking forward to more great work.

Posted: 3/6/11 at 10:59amI've enjoyed the show so far, but I'm worried that nothing really seems to be happening. The most recent episode didn't advance the plot at all, although I'm all for a return of the Chita Rivera character if they can work it in somehow.
