It was RippedMan who suggested the Booth, not me.

I kinda don't wanna see it just because no one can do justice to Sufjan's vocals.

St James is the plan and they very much have made it thinking it was a musical, like Contact or Moving Out.

Are they trying to open at the St. James by the Tony deadline (4/25)? Is that even possible?

If you love this album I can't imagine that you would dislike the music here. Especially fully orchestrated with a large-ish pit (I think I read 14?) The three vocalists were incredible and very much fit - they are not your typical broadway voices.
The NYTimes had both theater and dance review? I wonder if that's typical for a show like this? Their reviews couldn't be more different, Jesse Green's was a rave.
Yeah, I said the Booth since it'll be vacant, and would create a "hot ticket" situation. I don't see this selling out the St James or even filling it up that much. But if it's just for ten weeks I think it'd do fine.

I don't think I have seen this before - a rave by the theatre critics and a pan by the dance critics in the same paper....NYT.
