I am looking for suggestions of Broadway or Off-Broadway shows to fill my last theatre slot for my upcoming trip in April. I already have tickets to Clybourne Park, Other Desert Cities, Evita, Sleep No More, and Porgy & Bess. I had tickets to Anything Goes, but since Sutton is bailing before the promised April 29 departure date, I got a refund for those. So that leaves me with one slot left open - a Wednesday matinee. I really want to fill it but not sure with what. None of the seats left for The Best Man are decent, and the off-Bway play 4000 Miles seems to be sold out. Just not sure End of the Rainbow will be THAT good as to warrant several hundred dollars. So....what would you guys suggest?
End of the Rainbow has great word of mouth from Britain. Word has it its going to be the sleeper of the year.
If you haven't seen Priscilla Queen of the Desert, for abject fun that would be my recommendation. Saw it twice and was floored twice.

9 shows I want to see. I visit NYC 3 times a year and my upcoming trip is the 3rd this season.
Check out the video clip of Once (shows several songs and some filmed action that has musice playing over it). It really looks interesting (i.e., a musical with an actual story and related songs) but may be a little slow and quiet depending on your tastes (and unfortunately ANOTHER musical based on a movie - but this one may be different).
I hear Peter and the Starcatcher is quite good (I have a ticket) and The Lyons played to good (but not OUTSTANDING)reviews off B'way. But they did think enough of it to transfer to B'way house - and it IS the Vineyard Theater which has never failed to impress me when I have seen a show at that theater.
Post here what you ended up going with and why - or check out MY forum posting asking for some assistance with selection as well.
