Plus, y'know, it's not like this thread doesn't CLEARLY have "Sully" in the subject heading. If you're that bored, why are you still reading about him? Would you mind awfully belittling incredible achievements somewhere else from now on? 'Cos the masses have spoken, and we still totally dig Captain Sully here on BWW. :P
I agree with everyone who is disagreeing with jennafan...and I hope some pictures surface of them at the show! What a hero; truly.
...My wish was granted.

This board is full of idiots... Pippin being their king.
Perhaps, Jennafan you might not be so BORED if YOU or a loved one had been on that plane!
I'd follow Pippin over an immature, shallow, callow youth such as jennafan any day. I'm pretty sure there's only one idiot here, and it's such a shame that it is trying to fill up the board.

Maybe Pippin's cult can join up with my rabid pro-Special Tony cult!

OK---so was anyone at this performance to see Sully and crew?
Jennafan...you're pathetic.

They were at Chicago last night. In my mind I was thinking "Couldn't they bring them to a NEW show? They saved all these people and are rewarded with a stale 12 year old show?"
Fosse- were you there last night, did they do one of those crowd introductions like they did at South Pacific?
I was actually randomly walking by Chicago last night at about 30 min to curtain, and passed a crowd of people and at least three news cameras, and I could not figure out what could possibly be going on at Chicago on a Monday night... now it makes sense. :)
Kudos to these folks, but isn't it just a tad ironic that the accident occured before the Innaguration, Superbowl and the Winter months on Broadway when it's possible to get tickets to South Pacific? I'm just being snarky and cynical, don't mind me.

They made a small an announcement before the overture that they were there, and during the curtain call they brought them on stage.
Good for them, and they couldn't have seen a more beautiful production on Broadway.
