With the Tony Nom's will the show be extending past June 29th? I ask this bc I want to know if I HAVE to see this b4 the 29th or Can I wait until summer? I'm not sure what its about but I hear its good. Where can I hear some of the music?
Thanks

technically summer starts before June 29th, but guess for the young, summer is when elementary school gets out.

I also think that Daniel and Jenna have commitments in the UK.
Go soon. You can get $25 tickets.

Posted: 5/13/08 at 7:42pmI check the Roundabout Theatre's website daily and always June 29. In the New York Times advertisement it specifically says "Until June 29 Only" so I have determined that is indeed the case.

Posted: 5/13/08 at 8:27pmPal Joey isn't scheduled to begin until November, so that wouldn't prevent the show from extending. How the show does at the Tonys (both in potential wins and the performance) as well as the availability of the two leads would determine an extension.

According to Roundabout Theatre's website the last performance is scheduled for August 31st. Although tickets haven't been made available, I believe that they will extend once again.
First Performance:
Thursday, January 24
Last Performance:
Sunday, August 31

Posted: 5/13/08 at 8:50pmI posted a thread about this a few weeks ago, and from the responses I came away with an optimistic feeling about yet another extension. But the last couple of weeks have seen a pretty severe drop in attendance, which definitely doesn't bode well. Still, I'm hoping for two more weeks.

Posted: 5/13/08 at 11:59pmIt's one of those shows that if you put off seeing it and mean to see it, but never go see it... you are going to regret it in the future. It's visually stunning and, while I wish they hadn't skimped on the orchestra, sounds amazing. Those songs... And it's probably the one production you'll see where Act II kind of works.
