re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I have a few friends who saw it in Chicago. Two of them hated it, and one liked it. So we'll see. The plot doesn't sound all that interesting, but Letts is a great writer, so we'll see.

Sept 16, 17 & 19th only.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I think they're sold-out because I didn't see it either.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I didn't see it either. Oh well, hopefully the show will reappear soon.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I don't know how you aren't seeing it. All three dates are still there....only one is listed as limited.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

It's not on the full detailed list which is what I usually use to look at their offerings. I found it by clicking on the individual performance dates.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

Oh, didn't even know you had to do that. Thanks!

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

It showed up on my full list. Odd.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I went to click on it, and it said those tickets weren't available as "E-tickets"? I guess I'll just wait until they announce a student rush or something.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I bought a ticket, even though they'll have a student rush I'm sure.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

They aren't etix so they will mail them to you. TDF often does that when the date is far enough away. Why would that make you wait for a rush?

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I guess I was confused and assumed it meant I couldn't still get them?

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

No..it just means they will PHYSICALLY mail tickets to you. If there were no tickets, it simply wouldn't show up as a possibility for that date.

Ugh, why am I having such a hard time with these tickets, ha!

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

Now I can't find it at all! How much are they? I guess I'll have to wait for the student tickets.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

They were $32 + the TDF fee---- VERY good if the price listing that I have for the show is correct--- Believe $76 was lowest priced tic- (without using a discount code, obviously)

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I'm surprised they sold out so fast.

re: 'Superior Donuts' on TDF

I think the show will sell well, at least initially, on the strength of Letts being the author of August: Osage County. I don't have more than a passing interest in this show, but given how brilliant AOC was, I'm willing to give this a chance.
