ok, so, I'm not sure why Side Show was only such a short run since, well I was 7 then lol so I was not into broadway, but anyways
I would LOOOOOVE for this to be revived
and I know there is an age difference between them, but who else thinks it would be amazing to see Natalie Toro and Sutton Foster as Daisy and Violet??

any other suggestions on people?

I think the obvious aesthetic difference of height and ethnicity would prevent that pairing.

At the time, the thought of a musical about conjoined twins, no matter how good it was, turned off a lot of people, including myself. But after hearing all about it, and seeing some film clips, I too would love to see this show revived.
Maybe with Sutton Foster and Mara Davi!

Lisa Brescia was fabulous at the Kennedy Center. I don't see Sutton as either of the twins actually character wise. Natalie Toro- great voice, but not sure on the acting.

I think Foster would have difficulty with the pop elements in the score. I have a hard time getting the voices of Ripley and Skinner out of my head.

I saw Tiffany go on as Pilar in LB and Brooke go on as Prudy Pringle in Hairspray(on the same day also). They are very similar in their singing and how they act. Well they are twins...LOL.

I also think they'd make a great Florinda and Lucinda in Into the Woods. I always pictured them as twins, and the last revival randomly had one of them be black and the other white.

I saw Brooke go on as Amber one night in Hairspray. She was really funny. I have not seen Legally Blonde off of MTV, so I did not even know Tiffany was in that until recently, so I can't comment on her performance.

I saw Tiffany as Serena. She was great on the acting part. Her singing wasn't necessarily bad. But definitely not the best Serena I've ever heard. As for either of the twins...it takes special, SPECIAL voices to fill that score.

Alers sisters are definitely too old. As are the Velez sisters, one of which (Lauren) is on Showtime's "Dexter" so I doubt she'd have the time to do it.

I don't really see the merrit in having actual twins.

Its a demanding score that requires powerhouse vocals, so why stunt cast?

If the Condon-shepherded revival happens next season as tentatively planned, the buzz is that Erin Davie and Betsy Wolfe will be used (the creative team was very happy with their performances in the workshop.)

if they are used, like you said, i would love it, well, they LOOK like they could pass as siamese twins, but i dunno bout their voice, but im sure it is good
