Hi everyone!
I'm trying to decide if I should see either Sweat or Little Foxes for my matinee on Wednesday. I really want to see both, but can't choose. Any help? I'm also seeing Sunset Boulevard that night. Thanks!

I personally recommend Sweat. It's a great story, and it's beautifully told by the amazing cast. They're definitely both wonderful productions, but I prefer Sweat to Little Foxes.

I recommend The Little Foxes, especially since this Wednesday's matinee features Cynthia Nixon's wonderful, Tony-winning performance as Birdie.

Don't miss The Little Foxes. Linney as Regina and Nixon as Birdie are utter marvels.

THE LITTLE FOXES. Especially if you can see Nixon as Birdie.

I didn't see Sweat, but thorougly enjoyed The Little Foxes. The rush seat was not bad either, so I would recommend seeing that one.

I saw The Little Foxes and didn't see Sweat. One thing to consider if you live in the area is that Sweat is closing June 25 and The Little Foxes is closing July 2. So, if possible, you could see Sweat first and then The Little Foxes.
I loved The Little Foxes. It was everything you want from a revival. Thoughtful, exceptional performances (minus some lesser characters), gorgeous costumes, timely and relevant. That said, as a matinee on a two-show day even though it flew by, it does go a little long. It was around 2 hours 45 minutes when I saw the show. I have no idea how long Sweat runs. So that's something to think about.
I recommend seeing The Little Foxes if you can but if you can see both or go on another day that might be better given the two show day.

Very difficult choice. Especially since both plays are so politically topical and along quite similar themes.

Sweat runs 2:25, if that matters at all to your decision-making.

Sweat was my favorite of this year's four fine Tony-nominated plays. I hope you choose to see it. You have a little more time to see The Little Foxes (which I have not yet seen myself) and I would just like to see as many people see Sweat as possible.

That's my problem. I wish I could do both and I usually can (I only live at the Jersey shore). But I work this weekend and next week I have tech for my show that opens the weekend Little Foxes closes. I went with a third row seat to Little Foxes. I'm beyond excited! Little Foxes and twelfth row Sunset on the same day!

I don't remember much about Sweat. it was that memorable. Something about people losing their jobs. Yea I know it won the Pultizer but I found it a yawn. Just my opinion.
So Little Foxes.
