I had no idea former Australian convicts could get so pasty.
It's not exactly what I was expecting, but i do think it kinda kicks ass. Plays up the Depp-cool factor too which, whatever your opinion of the casting, will sell some tickets and get some attention. A good chunk of the billions raised by the Pirates movies is due to Depp...
Looking up at Johnny Deep in a chair with his legs spread wide open....
...as if being a Sondheim musical wasn't enough to get gay men to see this flick!
Sweeney Todd has been fiercified.

It's not what one would expect from Sweeney Todd but it's very Tim Burton-ish. The visual look of this movie will be magnificent
Me want more!
I'm dying to see Helena in costume.

I assume that's Young Lucy/Baby Johanna behind him.
Looks like the red is blood coming from the passageway to the Meat Pie factory.
oh baby, can you say tiled desktop? Yes, yes you can.
Wow. that is so nice close up. I love it. Very detailed.
I like it a lot but I too am a bit turned off by the hair. It's such a Tim Burtonism.

I do hope the picture of Lucy and Johanna isint on the wall in the actual film. Would kinda give away to the judge rather quickly who "Sweeney" really is
Close up, he looks fantastic!
*gets more excited*

Just for laughs, wouldn't it be funny to have that wicked poster and then to have the bottom read:
SWEENEY TODD
THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET
THE MUSICAL MOVIE!
wow, that's a really creepy poster! I'm really excited for this movie. I can't wait for the trailer to come out.

I sincerely doubt that it will be, unless Sweeney brought it with him to jail and back again, or Mrs. Lovett kept the painting for no particular reason and then gave it back to Sweeney once he returned.
Well, isn't it possible she never went up there?
