Molly Ringwald. Sigh. Look, I know I haven't bought my ticket yet, but can I get my money back?
Wow, Bobby. You're on a roll today!

I never heard of anyone in this cast except Molly who I liked in "Cabaret".

Too bad Molly is gonna slaughter this.
My partner almost ran Molly Ringwald over in his car in the mid 80's! True story!
Amanda Watkins was adorable in the tour of South Pacific. Too bad her Emile was...Robert Goulet.

Wow! She looks MUCH better (assuming this is a recent picture). Either that or somebody is a GOD when it comes to photoshopping.

In regard to nobody, nobody, and nobody joining Ms. Ringwald...I can only say that Guy Adkins and Amanda Watkins are VERY talented TRIPLE threats...Ironically I don't see Bobbybubby's name in the cast list. Go figure. Just because a name doesn't have immediate recognition does NOT mean those who garnered their role did not have immense talent and have to jump through numerous hoops to win it.

Guy Adkins is one of Chicago's busiest and most talented actors. He can go from dramas like "Arcadia" tp playing Pseudolus in "...FORUM".
Yeah, Adkins is one of the most respected and versatile actors in Chicago. He is a multiple Jeff Award nominee (and I'm sure he's won at some point), and does everything from Shakespeare to musicals. He was actually cast as Zazu in the national tour of "The Lion King" (but turned it down in favor of staying at home). So he's got cred.

It doesn't matter, sometimes you just can't please people. If they are a name, they cry stuntcasting, if you don't recognize their name, despite what their previous work might have been they are a nobody.
I bought a frozen yogurt at this place in West Hollywood in the '90s, and Molly Ringwald was there having soft serve with a couple of friends.
Is this the same production as the one that closed last year on Broadway?
Like same sets, choreography, orchestrations??

Yes. It's a touring version of last year's Broadway show.

i think Molly looks great! i wanna see this tour!
:)
Hello. I'm intrigued on all the comments about Molly Ringwald. I do recall a witty line from the short lived comedy series "It's All Relative" with Christopher Seiber and John Benjamin Hickey, who played "Phillip." In one eppy, the "Phillip" character says to his daughter: "Don't judge a musical by its touring company." from Roman in Austin, Texas.
P.S. I was at the July 28th perf. of "A Chorus Line" in San Francisco. I saw a person backstage who looked like the "Phillip" guy on "It's All Relative." I wanted to approach him for his autograph, but I didn't realize who he was and all I had for him to sign was the ACL Playbill. Oh well.

Just found out I'm also seeing Curtains tomorrow night. Can't wait.
