The full cast of LoveMusik has been announced, Judith Blazer (Murphy's HELLO AGAIN co-star) will be joining a cast that also includes MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG's Ann Morrison (Murphy's stand-by). This is so exciting, I have got to see this show.

I love this woman - great news! Can't wait to see it.
I really like Judith Blazer, her work with LaChiusa is usually first-rate (HELLO AGAIN, BERNARDA ALBA) and whenever she and Donna Murphy get together (ie. the Leonard Bernstein NY tribute), magic occurs. I wonder what role she'll be playing.
I always relish every chance to see Blazer on stage---she's wonderful. I believe Ann Morrison is covering Donna (she played Lenya in the early readings) as well as being in the ensemble.
I'm going to the second preview and can't wait.
wow now i'm soo excited! I love Blazer!

I think the news of Ann Morrison got me more excited than Murphy, Cerveris, and Blazer.
I am so pumped for Judy Blazer! I took part in her "Artist's Crossing" workshop this summer, and she is a remarkable woman! She is so fierce! I cannot wait for this show! Woohoo!
I love me some Judy/Judith Blazer. Her work in Hello Again and on the Ricky Ian Gordon Bright Eyed Joy CD is quite wonderful. She has a timber to her voice that is so unique. I saw her great Eliza in My Fair Lady. She is a trooper, and got through what I assume was a horrible Titanic exeprience, as they kept reducing the size of her role. I hope she has more than one moment to shine in LoveMusik. She was born to sing this music. Can you imagine if she and Donna Murphy sing together? Wow. Blazer was the only thing I liked about Bernarda Alba.

BobbyBubby, have you listened to the Leonard Bernstein NY album? Donna Murphy and Judith Blazer sing a trio with Mandy Patinkin, the two of them have such great chemistry during the song (there's a making-of documentary that shows them working together as well). I wasn't familiar with the fact her role in Titanic was supposed to be bigger, it'd have been great to hear her sing some of Maury Yeston's melodies.
I didn't think I could be more excited about this show but with the addition of Blazer to the cast, I realized I was wrong.
Stupid question. Has she always been 'Judith' Blazer? Cause I remember her from her ME AND MY GIRL days as 'Judy', but I could be wrong. At any rate, she's just terrific. And those big, expressive, beautiful eyes!
Exciting news!
Robbie, in our NYCGMC stuff about our June show -- in which she's going to perform with us -- we're still calling her Judy.

On the Jeff Blumenkrantz podcast she's Judy Blazer, and that was only last year. And her song on that was awesome - I'm so glad she's back on Broadway!
