chitowndoll,
I can agree with not wanting to do something and realizing only after the fact that something wasn't your cup of tea. But, be mature about the whole thing. Realize it at the beginning as something your not going to do in the future but man up and continue to do what you agreed to do.
I wouldn't be shocked to hear that changing the marquee was set up from the get go. That way the audience members who didn't pay attention to Howard's time off would at least get a chance to notice it and thus have no complaints from ticket buyers. But, now that I think of it I do wonder if they did it because Howard in fact isn't coming back.

Wow. He must have really been acting like an azz.
I agree with you. "Man up" and do what you agreed to do. Besides, he doesn't want to burn professional bridges.
I guess we'll see May 6th.

Terrence was awesome in other movies besides Hustle and Flow. Have you seen August Rush or The Brave One? Or how about Pride? He deserves more respect as an actor than you are giving him.

KellyO, it's called perception. You obviously perceive Terrence to be an "awesome" actor based on YOUR observation. Based on MY observation, I perceive him to be an actor with the POTENTIAL but who has either not been given or who has not sought out the opportunities to live up to the hype that has been following him since 'Hustle & Flow' and 'Crash'.
I saw 'The Brave One' and I personally thought it was a waste of film.
But we are entitled to our individual perceptions.

He played the same role in all three films. He has absolutely no range.
