As much as I love Sutton Foster, I think she needs a few more credits to gain the title of the Greatest Broadway star.

But then, of course, you have Dame Maggie Smith and Dame Judy Dench, both treasures.
Jennifer Holliday will always be remembered, even if it is for one role. Better do one role and be known forever than many and always forgotten.
But we have many modern actors and actresses who obviously have made quite an impact on the Broadway scene and clearly have a full career ahead of them, (and some longer than others all ready), like Denis O'Hare, Audra McDonald, Heather Headley, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tonya Pinkins, Anika Noni Rose, Nathan Lane, Bernadette Peters...
The face of Broadway is constantly changing. So I say none of these as the best of "all time" because new people will always be coming in and making their own impact on people and who can really say who was the best of all time? There are people who will always be remembered and that's always the best thing.

2. Bernadette (who's starting to slurrrrrrrrrr a little bit like Liza). What's up with that?

Im sorry, i am just in a really sarcastic mood.
Although I never had the pleasure to see her live my vote will go to Julie Andrews.
