THE PROM

Two weeks ago I saw The Prom on a Thursday night and I really enjoyed it. Was it a perfect show by any means? No. But what I really loved about it was how it was just fun. Nothing more too it, just plain all in all fun. I also really admired how much the cast was enjoying themselves especially the ensemble.

Now my concern really is their grosses. For a little (ish) show at a small to medium sized house (Longacre), it needs to be selling better and it just isn't. What's more concerning is that they've already performed at the parade, gma, and the late show and not much has changed its really just stayed the same. IMO I feel like it will linger til the nominations ceremony which will either make or break its run. It sounds risky as that's a month away but fingers crossed this may be what helps it, even though we know it won't be winning anything huge it's still a hope!!
What do you guys think?? Does it have any chance?

When I went Brooks, Caitlin, Angie, Isabelle and Michael Potts. Along with the understudy for Alyssa's mom who was on when I went. I have seen people post pics of Beth and Chris also, so I wouldn't count anyone out. Lots of the ensemble also comes out and love answering questions!

When we saw the show, we got all of the main casts autographes at the stage door except for C. Sieger. We also got a ton of supporting cast too. My two daughters were able to get pics with so many of them. Their playbills were filled up. It was a great show and a great stagedoor experience
