I wonder if it will include this, Marni Nixon's guide for foreign dubbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RphAMQa7fDs&t=374s
I don't notice any difference in the "alternate take" track they released, but looking forward to hearing the rest when it's out.

It does not. It does however include her demo recording of “I Have Confidence”

It appears to be the exact same vocal track as the one used in the movie, only 2 bars in the instrumental intro have changed. But the movie version and the soundtrack version were always different anyway. This seems a 3rd variation of the intro.
"Something Good" alternate version with Christopher Plummer's original vocals:
I'll never understand old Hollywood being so quick to dub. He sounds fine here and on Edelweiss, he just lacks confidence in singing, like someone has told him he's a bad singer.
.........That being said, I wouldn't mind some creative dubbing on certain modern movie-musical stars!!!
"Edelweiss" with Christopher Plummer's original vocals:
Ugh, yet again they stick in the "A bell is no bell" intro to the "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" reprise. I'd be happy with this as an additional track, but I'd like to be able to hear it as it's heard in the film, without the intro. Aaand they went with the reverb-heavy version of the title song. Don't like that one. Won't be shelling out for this.

In his very entertaining autobiography, he expressed satisfaction with his work on the songs but thought he was so far out of Julie Andrews' league as a vocalist that it would be better for the film (and the songs) for a professional singer's voice to be used.
I agree with your point, though. He sounds fine.

This new soundtrack does indeed include the “Sixteen Going On Seventeen” Reprise without the “A bell is no bell” introductory verse!!!

There's an alternative take, but it have different orchestrations from those used in the final edit and lacks the intro music.

No, it’s legit the movie version with the intro. On the Apple Music track list, it’s number 53. It comes after Salzburg Montage (Discrete Version) and before Edelweiss (Without Chorus). The track is called “Sixteen Going On Seventeen (Reprise) [Film Version].
