Since 'Hairspray' will be on NBC tonight - I was thinking about 'The Wiz' and wondering if they had cancelled the plan to mount a version of the show on Broadway? I've heard nothing about it since it aired...

The "official" word id that there's no theatre available... Perhaps true but the lack of any talk makes it seem pretty dead in the water.

Wasn't clique announced as a co-producer? Now that paramore is closing I would think there would be more interest in mounting it.
