Was there ever a different wig used for Ariel in Little Mermaid than the one we all know from Broadway?
Well, is the Broadway one different from those that the face characters wear at Disneyland?
Well, a friend insists that there was a different original one and I disagree. I'd like to prove her wrong. :p

I liked the one that lit up and shot flames at the end.

A. who cares?
B. that's not a different wig, it's the wig she wears in the 2nd act during that dreadfully overwritten quartet.

God that color just looks AWFUL against her skin.
memorexbud, I beg to differ:

The wig there is completely different.
Pointless debate? Yes. But I'm a wig nerd.
Whatever that wig in the picture is, it's hideous..

I don't have the book with me right now to tell you for sure, but in the Behind The Scenes book about TLM they mention that they went through several different wigs to find the right shade of red. So yeah, the wig is different from Denver to Broadway, and judging from what I remember in the book the wig was even changed a couple of times in Denver.

I know this is slightly off topic, but just to be clear- her mic and mic pack *were* under her wig, right?
