You all know i love Julianna Margulies(sp?) but she looked like a cockroach in that dress.

sara ramirez looked huge. maybe it was the dress, maybe not. im unsure.

Patti Lupone is great, but her dress wasn't the right size or for a woman her age i think. LaChanze and Kelli O'Hara looked great!

While I love Christine Ebersole, and thought she looked great, I think her dress was a little too poofy! LOL. It looked like she was going to the king's coronation.

if i was appearing on national TV and in front of 6,000 people in a live theatre, I would assume at least a few people would comment on how i look. thats life in the lime light for you. sorry.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree... Sara was definitely one of the worst dressed. It just wasn't flattering on her--she looked bad. Ebersole looked like Cinderella--and not in a good way. I thought Glenn Close looked absolutely amazing! So did Cynthia Nixon.

did anyone else catch the woman in... I don't remember which show, she came up to the stage in one of the big wins, maybe she was part of History Boys? I'll have to check clips online and see if I can find her again... but anyway, I swear the woman was wearing a dress that was vertically split down the middle- half black & white, and half pink. It was just- wow.

Definitely found Sara in poor taste of outfits this year. At least the red squeeze from last year looked really hot!
I like the Richard Griffiths award wear and also liked Close's dress. I even liked Christine's as well

Yes i think Anakela is talking about Julianna, she is such a cute girl, but that dress...she looked like a cockroach! hehe. I personally love her and think she showed what "stage presence" means in "Festen"

no i'm pretty sure it wasn't Julianna- her dress was like a pink top part and then a salmon/brownish color skirt, right?
The dress I'm thinking of was seriously like the right side of it was black/white, and the left side was pink.

eta: ok i found a half-pic (it was History Boys, but she's hidden in the crowd) but look at the left, do you see the bottom half of a dress that's black/white, and a bottom half of a dress that's like pink/orange/purple-ish? They're halves that make up one dress.

Someone earlier today name dropped Kyra Sedwick when they said she was their friend's mom. The poster said Kyra's dress was amazing. It was great at the top, but it had a huge puffiness thing going on from the shins to the floor. Also, Kyra and Anna P. should have talked before because I thought it looked really matchy that they presented one right after the other basically wearing the same dress (both were strapless red dress, however anna had that black strip at the top and no puffiness so her's was better in my opinion).

I thought that Christine Ebersole looked Stunning! I also thought LaChanze looked great.

I agree that Sara Ramirez looked really big in her dress.

Julia Roberts could NOT pull off that dress. Hell, a 18-year old at prom couldn't pull that off. Too revealing, and it tired to hard to be sexy. What was up wtih her hair? Sara Ramirez didn't look great in that dress, which is a shame, because I think she's gorgeous.

Cynthia Nixon looked BEAUTIFUL. Classic, simple, wonderful. LaChanze looked great, as well. I also think Anna Paquin looked stunning.

Here's a link to a photo of Kyra Sedgwick. From the knees up, she looks fantastic. The bottom of the dress makers her look like a doorknob.

Apparently I mixed my dresses up. But Kyra still looked funny on the lower half. Anna's dress had straps, not shoulderless. Oops
