i saw this this summer and loved it

true, it is not the best piece of musical theatre...but it still is awesome!

yeah, TARZAN isnt great (the new songs arent my favorites), but the effects and stuff are incredible!
and yeah, i personally PMed the moderators to delete the LB thread, because people would not stop jumping down my throat...oh well

That Grammy Soundchecks event on Nov 3 sounds like it would have been something great to attend. Apparently Phil Collins was there along with Josh and Jenn for this special rehearsal and discussion session for students in NYC. I hope that those who attended truly appreciated this unique experience. I am jealous. Don't miss the photo coverage posted here on this website. Thanks BWW

I LOVE Tarzan, but Tarfans?
I saw Tarzan in June. I took my brother (he's 6) and we both loved it. He keeps asking me if we can go back.

but i remember when i got a heart attack during the opening! i was just bouncing happily in my seat, and BOOM! the lights go down, the lightning "strikes" and the thunder and apes roar.
it was very, very sudden!

Haha, I definitely jumped when the thunder first started. We were front row center, so I think it was a little too close for the opening. He hid until the apes swung out though. After that, he liked it.

You can add me to this group as well. I have yet to see it (but have seen enough clips on the unnamed site). I absolutely love the cast recording, and all of the actors/actresses voices. I really hope my fiance has taken the hint and gotten me tickets for Christmas!!

I am a complete TARFAN!! LOL though I haven't seen the show I have the soundtrack and it touches me everytime. The next time I will be in NY will MAYBE be this coming summer, and I really don't want to see it if the original is not in it. Ughh. = (

I agree. I always get upset when I listen to OBCR that I have never seen the original casts of my favorite shows, so hopefully this will be my first!

I never did that, except for ACL. At first, I didn;'t see what the big deal was. What I Did For Love, I thought was WAY too slow, but I love it now!
