I think I saw him too in the trailer at Funny People last night.

On a side note, Kevin Chamberlin plays a bank worker in the movie.

re: Talking Woodstock...

It's Taking, not Talking, and yes Jonathan Groff is in it. I think he talked a little bit about it in a recent interview.

EDIT: Here it is. He talks about it on the second page, which I linked to here, but there's a first page as well with stuff about The Singing Forest and Hair. http://www.broadway.com/buzz/news_feature_detail.aspx?id=5024813&p=2

And to add another Tony winner in there, IMDb says Dan Fogler has a part as well.

Jonathan Groff is playing Michael Lang in the movie.

Skylar Astin is in the movie, too.

Love that Broadway stars are making it to the big screen.

re: Talking Woodstock...

I've heard from several Film reviewers who saw the film say Jonathan Groff give the best performance of the film, and these reviewers were like "Newcomer Jonathan Groff" because they had no idea about his past theatre experience. So coming from a film critic who didn't know he was Tony nominated, say he is the greatest part of the film, thats a big deal. They didn't know who he was before the film, and they were blown away by it. I mean all the theatre people are going to love him, but when people who don't know who he is, are saying they think he's amazing, thats worth noting. I'm really anxious to see what he does.

He's actually credited on the poster.

re: Talking Woodstock...

This is what he left Hair last summer early for. He was already committed to the film.

I've read the book it's based on, can't wait to see the flick.

re: Talking Woodstock...

Can you PLEASE edit/change the subject line with the film's correct title: TAKING WOODSTOCK?

re: Talking Woodstock...

He's a newcomer to the movies...and to TV. The REVIEWERS might know/care he was Tony nominated....but MOST movie goers do not.
