Nothing Kristi Dawn and Sean Hayes could do would be HALF as dazzling.
Nice gams!
Ok, that's pretty awesome. Is that guy in the middle seven feet tall??? The proportions of the three guys is a hilarious tribute to the original trio. And that brunette guy in the light blue shirt is adorable!
That was hysterical. I am obsessed with this.

Loved it.
Though, Kristi Dawn and Sean won't be doing this number.
That step that starts at 2:06 is like my favorite in the world.

I * know * that, Phyllis!
The 2:23 'criss-cross' is my favorite part!

:) I figured. It's just my nature to be contrary.
I love that step pointed out, too, but that back kick/arms flailing thing just rocks my world.
Phyllis - That's my favorite step as well and one of my all-time favorite steps, period. When the number gets to "Jingle bells! Jingle bells!", I get goosebumps (when executed well). But I also love that step-kick criss-cross figure eight (with the full cast) that instantly transforms into the three lines leading into the insanely frenzied "you-hoo-hoo"s (not just the arms circles, but the crazy stuff the ensemble does in the background) and the return of the headache-inducing (I tried it myself) aforementioned favorite step-touch step-back-kick flail-the-arms-and-bang-your-head step. And as much credit is given to Fosse for the Single Ladies video, there are hints of Michael Bennett and his fondness for some of his complicated pat-the-head/rub-the-belly/walk-and-chew-gum frenetically layered choreography.
I have to say this number is probably the most exciting piece of choreography I've ever seen in musical theatre and it is such a ridiculous and pointless song! The lyrics are nonsense and the number adds nothing to the plot. But it is unbridled energy and joy that never fails to make me giddy.
I also love how he passes off the cup at the beginning.
It's good but I think they used Camp as a reference. In the original choreography the arms in Phyllis' favorite bit aren't a clean.

Donna had the ability make it seems like her entire backbone was as flexible as rubber.
I've always wondered regarding the tony clip. Is Kelly Bishop one of the background dancers, and if so, does anyone know which one she is?
What I love about this particular clip is the hit-the-ceiling exuberance of three guys re-creating one of the greatest Broadway dance numbers in just a small meeting room.
Now...this choreography IS going to be in the revival, isn't it?
I think I read somewhere that she was the dancer on the desk in the middle, Phyllis.

Can you imagine how awesome it would be if they did this song on GLEE?

Givesmevoice, I always wondered if that was her on the desk.
What is it about this number and that brilliantly goofy choreography that just make me giddy? I love every silly thing about it. And it just builds and builds.
I'd love to see this number (choreography intact) on Broadway.
It never fails to bring tears of joy to my eyes. Musical comedy heaven.
IBDB list Promises, Promises among Kelly Bishop's credits, so that's probably her.
This number is just so brilliant. I have no idea why. There's no point to it. And I think that adds to the brilliance.
I certainly hope they are doing this choreography in the revival. Some of the best choreography ever created.

I'm assuming Charlotte D'Amboise is playing Donna's part in the revival?

^ She better be. It would complete the triad of Bennett/McKechnie dance routines.

She's kinda long in the tooth, though, no?
I'm pretty sure Kelly Bishop is the one in with the open sweater and the white blouse. She ends up in just over Donna's right shoulder in the final formation. I know it's an awkward clip, but that's the one that looks most like it could be Kelly to me. And I thought I read somewhere pointing that one out as her.
Anyway. Agreeing with everyone else here. This choreography is brilliance. Donna was/is magical. And those boys did a really great job. I smiled throughout that whole video.
I assumed they were casting the whole production old with Cheno playing early 20's.
Maybe it takes place in an old folks home like 70, Girls, 70.
