My only issue with him in it is that he's supposed to be playing Frankie Valli's role from the film, and he is no Frankie Valli. I know he can't help going gray at a young age, but it just seems weird to be casted in this role, unless he will be wearing a wig or dying his hair. I mean, the role is "Teen Angel." He's supposed to be dreamy to teenage girls. Oh well, at least he isn't playing a high school student. Now that would be plain scary.

Frankie Avalon played Teen Angel in the film. Frankie Valli sang the title song at the beginning of the movie. It's an easy mistake to make

Wow, you're right. I knew that too. LOL! I was talking to my mom about this earlier, and I knew I said Frankie Avalon because we were discussing him being popular with teenage girls. Well, anyway, Taylor Hicks is no Frankie Avalon or Valli. :)

Aw, his hair looks nice.
Or at least it does in my pictures which I haven't figured out how to get here yet. Would someone be kind enough to tell me how the pictures work here. This is different to me.
But anyway, I have seen Taylor Hicks just light up a stage, don't know how this will turn out but I know he can do it. Just keep an open mind, you will be surprised.

I like Taylor and hope he does well. He has charisma, energy, and can sing. He's been paying his dues in entertainment for a long time, even if it wasn't in theater. A small part in a musical comedy, you don't have to study Shakespeare to deserve the part.

And he looks better since the show. He lost weight and got his hair cut shorter. That is his actual girlfriend in the picture btw.

Yes and most of the people who are quick to cut up a guy who actually won AI have never had a girlfriend (or boyfriend) of their own, I would bet. Some of the anger directed at Taylor Hicks is pathetic. But then this is a country where one of the presidential candidates actually referred to his wife as a c*** in front of the press.

The standards of decorum in America suck.

I'm not a Taylor Hicks fan, but the over the top bitchiness on BWW is not particularly appealing either...as if the careers of many of the Broadway wannabes is any more distinguished than the A.I. people who got a Broadway start because of fleeting fame on a hit tv show.

I'm glad he's in the show. I was a huge fan of him, and he would be the only reason for me to see the show.
