2006 American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will join the Broadway cast of GREASE as The Teen Angel, from June 6 - Sept. 7.
Looks like the show will survive.

OK...this is a new low. An AI winner...in this Grease? Oh, how the mighty have fallen. A show based on reality show winners. Great.
It is a sad, sad day. For him, for Broadway, and for society. Guess state fairs can't pay all of the bills.

Fantasia (THE COLOR PURPLE) won American Idol.
I just wish we dont get any more of those psycho groups here at BWW like The Miss Clay Aiken's fans...

Posted: 5/15/08 at 10:09pmI forgot about Fantasia winning (is that good or bad?). I did love her Celie. But she is mildly successful as a recording artist. He was an outright failure. Idol just needs to stop...ah, if only FOX didn't need ratings!
