She didn't get the robe. Her understudy, Brynn Williams, got it ebcause she was in chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I just saw the show last night and I thought it was great. It was very different and unusual and I liked that. I thought Chiara Navara was very good. She has obviously had plenty of vocal training and belongs on a Broadway stage. People love to have something negative to say about things. I was almost disappointed...I went to In My Life to laugh at a show that was supposedly so bad, but I ended up loving the show. It wasnt at all what I expected and thats a good thing. I like to be surprised.

Seriously...that kid probably has more discipline than half the adults I know. Leave her alone. Are we all so insecure that we have to pick on a child? Fine, criticize her performance from an artistic standpoint, but don't make judgements about her personality or her temperment...how many of us would be able to do that as a child?

Saw the show last night for the second time. I thought Chiara Navarra was good. Her acting was much better second time around and she has a great voice. However, I saw the understudy (Brynn Williams) as Addy in the American Girl show and she was simply breath-taking! I can't believe she only made the understudy.

The topic of this thread is absolutely horrifiying, as is the lack of class, dignity, and basic human sensitivity of the person who started it and any of those who indulged in trashing a child. I don't visit this board often, nor do I post often, but this thread is shocking and heartbreaking. It is sad enough to see adults torn apart by absolutely class-less folk who can hide behind the anonymity of a screen name, but to see it done to a child is appalling. Try to cultivate a more positive use of your time, for your own sake, as well as others, because this is unhealthy and shameful.
